Canon Image Prograph 300 does it worth it?

does it worth it?

Yes.

Let me explain why!

It was complicated at the beginning to decide for what printer to go.

My first approach was to send my pictures to deferent labs, justified in the "convenient price" and quality of them.

The problem for me started when the results that I received weren't as close at the soft proofing test I did in my monitor emulating their printers and the paper that they use.

When I decided to print a few bigger prints that usual, the budget that this lab give was about $60 bucks each, and I ned it 4 prints, in total $240 without taxes, for 4 prints... (is not near to the inicial investment for the printer, the extra set of inks, and the paper).

But the appealing for me, was the idea of control every part of the process. Color grading, soft proofing, the selection of the paper texture, and of curse the convenience.

Resulting in getting the prints I was looking for.

If you are getting serious about Photography and printing, the short answer is to get the best printer you can afford or I invite you to learn about my 1 on 1 printing service, in the Austin Area, or directly by zoom.
